Frequently Asked Questions

What is Somatic Sex Education?

Somatic Sex Education is body-based learning that helps you reconnect with sensation, cultivate presence, and expand your natural capacity for pleasure, healing, and self-trust. Together, we work with practices like breath, sound, movement, touch, and boundary exploration to awaken your body’s innate intelligence

What other modalities might be included in a session?

Each session is unique and co-created based on your intentions. Along with Somatic Sex Education, we might weave in:

  • NeuroAffective Touch – Gentle, clothed touch that supports nervous system regulation, attachment repair, and emotional integration.

  • Hypnosis – Guided trance states to help shift limiting beliefs, release shame, and invite new experiences of ease, pleasure, or confidence.

  • Energy Healing – Intuitive, heart-centered energy work to restore flow, clear blockages, and support your body’s natural healing process.

  • Platonic Cuddling – Nurturing, consent-based touch for those seeking safe, nonsexual connection and co-regulation.

Who do you work with?

I welcome people of all genders, backgrounds, and life stages who long to feel more alive, connected, and at home in their bodies. Many of my clients are navigating transitions—whether in identity, relationship, or life purpose—and are seeking a safe, affirming space to explore healing and embodied joy.

What do clients experience?

Clients often describe releasing long-held tension or shame, reconnecting with sensation, and stepping into more embodied confidence, pleasure, and self-expression. The tools we explore often ripple outward, bringing more ease and authenticity into daily life and relationships.

What happens in a session?

We begin with a check-in and grounding practice to tune into your body’s wisdom. From there, we follow the unfolding rhythm of your nervous system and your desires—whether through breathwork, touch, movement, dialogue, or energetic healing.

Consent is always ongoing and central. Sessions close with time for stillness, integration, and reflection. I often follow up by email or voice note to support your aftercare process.

How do I know if this work is right for me?

This work invites vulnerability, curiosity, and courage. It can be deeply nourishing—but it helps to have some sense of emotional readiness and safety in your system.

If you’re considering in-person sessions, we’ll begin with a discovery call to ensure alignment and safety for both of us.

Where are you located?

I offer in-person sessions near Nyack, NY—just outside New York City—and online sessions for clients across the country and around the world.

Do you offer discounts or sliding scale options?

Yes. I offer reparative pricing, sliding scale spots, and payment plans—especially for BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, disabled, and economically marginalized community members.

Seasonal specials and packages are also available. My hope is to balance accessibility with sustainability, honoring the energy and care that this work requires.

How many sessions do clients usually do?

Every journey is unique. Some clients feel significant shifts in 3–6 sessions, while others choose ongoing support over months or years.

We’ll discuss your goals and co-create a path that feels attuned, spacious, and aligned with your needs.

How can I prepare and care for myself before and after?

Before your session:

Come with curiosity, and if possible, a sense of what you’re longing for—or a willingness to discover it in real time.

After your session:

Allow time for rest, integration, and gentle self-care. Nourishing foods, movement, journaling, time in nature, or simply being still are beautiful ways to support the unfolding.
