What does pleasure feel like to you? Where do you feel it in your body?
If you were describing pleasure to someone, like when you describe symptoms for a problem to a doctor, what would you say? For me, it often comes with a sense of expansion in my chest or solar plexus, and a ringing or tingling sensation.
What do you notice in your body when it is relaxed? Here are some examples:
I feel my belly moving in and out as I breathe
I can breathe more easily
I am aware of parts of it that I usually don't notice, or that are numb.
I notice I tip slightly to the left at this moment

Fear

An Invitation: Sit back. Take a slow deep breath and exhale twice is long. Where in your body do you feel the most pleasure right now? If the pleasure had a color, what would it be? Breathe into that place of most pleasure, and allow the color, the feeling, to spread out, reaching into other parts of your body. Keep breathing, nice and slow and deep, and let that pleasurable feeling spread to as much of your body as you can. Enjoy!
